DocRoc & The Remedies is a Portsmouth based classic rock band formed in early 2002.  They play for festivals, special events and private parties throughout Ohio and Northern Kentucky.  They are the official rock band for TOSRV, the bike tour that begins in Columbus and ends in Portsmouth at Tracy Park.  They have entertained there in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009.

The group made their 9th straight Riverdays Festival appearance Saturday, September 6th..  They were part of the featured entertainment on Sunday night along with the Larry Pancake and “Kentucky HeadHunters”.  Saturday September 23rd the group travels to Germantown, Ohio to appear at The Pretzel Festival.  On August 22 the group performed at the Ohio Governor's mansion.  The group has opened for and/or played with such groups and artists as "Beatle Mania", "America", "The Georgia Satellites", "The Classic Rock All-Stars",and  "Ladies Of Longford".

DocRoc & The Remedies just released their first CD in Mid May entitled “DocRoc & The Remedies (Plays everone else’s) Greatest Hits”  Volume two is planned for release in late October or early November.  Members of the group are Dr. Clyde Fenton, aka DocRoc lead vocals and guitar, Becky Climer, keyboards, Mark O'Brien drums, Bob Mascari, vocals and bass guitar, Carol Mascari, vocals and saxophone, Doug Parsley vocals and lead guitar.  Sound and Lights are provided for DocRoc & The Remedies by DocRoc Productions of Portsmouth, Ohio, Ed Swanner, Chief Engineer.
